Introduction to the MQ-4 sensor:

The gas sensing material used in the MQ-4 gas sensor is tin dioxide (SnO2) with lower conductivity in clean air. When there is a flammable gas in the environment where the sensor is located, the conductivity of the sensor increases as the concentration of flammable gas in the air increases. The change in conductivity can be converted to an output signal corresponding to the gas concentration using a simple circuit. The MQ-4 gas sensor has high sensitivity to methane and good sensitivity to propane and butane. This sensor detects a wide range of flammable gases, especially natural gas, and is a low-cost sensor for a wide range of applications.

Suitable for household or factory methane gas, natural gas and other monitoring devices, can test natural gas, methane 300 to 10000ppm; 

module features:

• using high-quality double-panel design, with power indication and TTL signal output indication; 
• with DO switch signal ( TTL) output and AO analog signal output; 
• TTL output valid signal is low level. (When the output is low, the signal light is on, it can be directly connected to the MCU or relay module.) 
• The voltage of the analog output is higher. The higher the concentration, the higher the voltage. 
• Good sensitivity to methane and natural gas detection. 
• there are four screw holes for easy positioning;

• DO output: TTL digital quantity 0 and 1 (0.1 and 5V)
